We are here for all of your physical therapy needs, be it orthopedic treatment, hand and wrist conditions, etc. Our job is to help you get back to feeling yourself again, whether through physical rehabilitation or other treatment options; come drop by our office and tell us how we can help you!   • Cheryl Benck, OTR-L

    Cheryl has been with NST since 1995. She received her BS In occupational therapy from the College of St. Catherine in 1994. Cheryl specializes In elbow, hand, and wrist conditions, functional capacity evaluations, and lymphedema treatment.

  • Dan Weaver, MS, MPT

    Dan has been with NST since 1998. Dan received his BS and MS in biology at the University of MN-Duluth, and his MA in Physical Therapy at the College of St.Scholastica. Dan's areas of specialty include the evaluation and treatment of cumulative trauma disorders of the neck and shoulder, evaluation and treatment of balance impairments, evaluation and treatment of foot pain, and ergonomic and industrial consultation.

     

  • Denise Hansen, PT

    A 2001 addition to NST, graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in 1977. She specializes In the areas of orthopedics, pediatrics and treatment of vertigo. Denise also has experience in the treatment of fibromyalgla and neurological disease.

  • Kristie Stang, PTA

    Kristie has been with NST since 1996. She received her AAS at Anoka Ramsey Community College in 1996. In addition to treating general orthopedic conditions, Kristie has had training in functional rehabilitation, lumbar spine disorders,  and  treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders. She is a member of the APTA.

  • Lisa Neuman, MPT
     
    Lisa joined our staff in 1999. She earned her Master's Degree in Physical Therapy and a BS in Health Sciences from the College of St. Scholastica. In addition to treating orthopedic conditions, Lisa's areas of specialty include evaluation and treatment of TMD (temporomandibular joint dysfunction), evaluation and treatment of women's health issues, and vestibular/balance rehabilitation.
     
  • Mike Hiscock, MPT

    Mike graduated from the University of North Dakota with his Master's Degree in Physical Therapy. He has been with NST since 2003.  In addition to working with general orthopedic conditions, Mike has additional training in industrial ergonomics and consultation and functional capacity evaluations.

     
  • Steve Carr, PT

    Steve graduated in physical therapy in 1980 from the Mayo School of Health-Related Sciences. He has been with NST since 1994, specializing in orthopedic therapy, evaluation and treatment of foot and ankle conditions, custom foot orthotics, sports injuriesespecially running and golf injuries along with starting the Peak Performance for Golf Program.

     
  • Kathy Standberg, PT

    Kathy joined our group in 2001. She graduated from Mayo School of Health-Related Sciences in 1988. In addition to general orthopedic care, Kathy brings to the group her expertise in the area of TMJ (temporomandibular joint) evaluation and treatment, as well as evaluation and treatment of headaches.

     
  • Ted Helgerson, PT

    Ted has been with NST since 1994. He is a 1975 graduate of Mayo School of Health-Related Sciences. Ted has specialized in orthopedic rehabilitation, shoulder rehabilitation, manual therapy, and health club-based exercise programs.

     
  • Carly Braun DPT

    Carly has been with NST since 2016. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Mayo School of Health Sciences. In addition to treating general orthopedic conditions, she has also had additional training in treating TMJ disorders, vestibular/balance rehabilitation, and functional capacity evaluations.

     

  • Matt Tembrock, DPT

    Matt has been with NST since 2016. He received his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from St. Cloud State University and graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from St. Augustine. In addition to treating general orthopedic conditions, Matt specializes in manual therapy and treating sports related injuries.

     
  • Noah Helgerson, DPT

    Noah has been with NST since 2016. He graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of North Dakota in 2015. In addition to treating general orthopedic conditions, he is certified in functional capacity evaluations.
